Equipora exists to remove the guesswork and the risk from buying technology in Africa.
What verification actually means
A verification badge states precisely what Equipora checked and nothing more. It is not a guarantee of any individual transaction.
- Identity Verified — the person behind the business was identity-checked
- Business Verified — business registration details were checked
- Physical Store Verified — Equipora confirmed a real shop at the stated address
- Approved Refurbisher — the refurbishment process was reviewed and approved
- Approved Technician — technicians were approved for equipment verification
Condition grading is enforced
Every listing declares a standard condition grade and any known defects. Misdeclaring condition is a suspendable offence.
Compatibility is never guessed
Equipora will say 'I cannot verify the correct part yet' rather than show you a part that might not fit. A wrong toner or drum is an expensive mistake.
Buy safely
- Confirm the exact model with the seller before paying
- Ask for the warranty terms in writing
- Prefer sellers with a verified physical store for high-value equipment
- Report any listing that misrepresents condition or compatibility
What Equipora does not do
Equipora does not process payments, hold escrow, ship goods or provide warranty. Those are agreed directly between you and the seller.
